We are frequently asked...

How does Global NIM find and get connected with your international partners?
This is easily our #1 question. The answer is, "It depends." Many of our partners (we call them "mission directors") are individuals whom we (Board or Committee members) have met. In other instances, we have received recommendations from those who are already serving the Lord and will vouch for the new contact. In a few cases, the mission directors found us via a web search and contacted us first. In these two or three instances, we work diligently to validate their identity and outreach work. In no case do we commence a financial sponsorship without first gaining this confidence through networking and prayer.

How much of my donation goes toward administrative costs?
Only 5% of your donation is held for administrative; however at the end of each year, we determine how much of that account is a reasonable carry-forward and the balance is returned to project funding. Thanks to an all-volunteer staff and careful cost control, administrative overhead has been less than 5% of all donations since Global NIM began in 2004.

What kind of support is Global NIM able to provide to its international partners?
Prayer, relationship, ideas/practical advice and financial support; but of all these things the importance of prayer support cannot be overemphasized.

In how many countries does Global NIM serve?
At the moment, Global NIM has relationships with 12 mission directors located in 8 different countries. Please refer to the map at the top of the “whom we serve" page to view the countries in which Global NIM is active.

What financial information is available for your organization?
Global NIM adopts an open-book or transparency principle. If you would like to request a copy of Global NIM's current financial statements or its IRS Form 990-EZ, please submit your request by going to the "contact us" link under the "how to help" tab.

How long has Global NIM been doing this kind of work?
Global NIM started in March of 2004 and has been actively engaged in its support of international independent missions since that time.
